A comb which unties knots and obstacles sliding and tracing the vertical axis of images… a sphere that floats, reproduces itself, joins or traps other white spheres, latex gloves that become plastic silhouettes sinuously feminine, wooden sticks which look like a raft and animate the monochromatic background, threads that interweave as a connecting nervous system. Cecilia Luci describes the private challenge of femininity in a confusing and noisy world. She seeks the hidden order of things, the whispers without a shout, the low speed and the enduring resistance. The workpieces do not entail the easy effect but the real figurative time-span; therefore they live inside an amniotic fluidity that preserves and allows the growth. Time and fashion remain far away from this emotional geography: the space taken belongs to pure archetypes, the only which pulse, breathe, call, stimulate, evoke…
